1. Use the Right Remover:
   Dependant on the paint used you need to choose the appropriate removal method.
   • Water-based face paints: These usually come off using a flannel or sponge with warm water and mild soap or your usual cleanser.
   • Grease-based or long-wear paints: Opt for baby oil, coconut oil, or a gentle makeup remover.
   • Glitter and gems: Use micellar water or an oil-based cleanser to loosen adhesive, then gently lift with a cotton pad.
2. Avoid Scrubbing
   Use soft cloths or cotton pads. Scrubbing can irritate the skin, especially around the eyes and cheeks.
3. Rinse and Repeat (If Needed)
   Sometimes one pass isn’t enough. Rinse with lukewarm water and repeat gently if traces remain.
4. Moisturise Afterwards
   Face paint removal can strip natural oils. Finish with a soothing moisturiser to keep skin soft and hydrated.

• Avoid Baby wipes: These might seem convenient, but many contain alcohol or fragrance that can sting, dry out, or irritate delicate skin especially on children’s faces. So PLEASE AVOID USING BABY WIPES!
• Avoid Harsh soaps or alcohol-based removers
• Avoid Rough wipes or exfoliants
• Avoid Hot water (can dry and irritate skin)
• Do Use a dark washcloth: This will prevent the washcloth from getting stained by the paint. 
• We recommend removing the face paint before sleeping, and usually within 4-5 hours of application.
